Flashlite #785 – Little mortuary edition

Wayne Kramer

Today Little Lighthouse turns into little mortuary. We say goodbye to several great rock musicians who all passed away recently. Guitarist of MC5, Wayne Kramer passed away of pancreatic cancer on February 2nd. Singer of Jeff Beck Group, The Gass and Hummingbird, Bobby Tench passed away on February 19th. Denny Laine who was a founding member of The Moody Blues and played with Paul McCartney in Wings passed away on December 5th last year. Dex Romweber of Flat Duo Jets passed away on Februay 16h. Mojo Nixon died on February 7th. Scott Kempner who was in Dictators, Del Lords and Brandos passed away on November 29th last year. The last one we pay tribute to this time is Melanie, who passed away on January 23rd.

Towards the end of the show, we pay a tribute to Van Conner, bass player of Screaming Trees who passed away on January 17th this year. He was only 55.
