King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have published four albums in just a few short weeks, one after another. And a standout is environmental concept album Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms and Lava. We check it out today. Talking about wizards, a true star Todd Rungdren is back with a collaboration album Space Force, featuring a truly stellar list of collaborators. Black Lips are also here with the new record. Ghost Woman has a second album in a year announced with the new single. Salt Lake City’s Sculpture Club check in with the new single. June MillingtonOne of the more surprising reunions that happened in recent days is the reunion of the 70s all female band called Fanny, lead by June Millington. Their new album Walked The Earth sounds very fresh. We also check out the new album for Dan Finnemore. He used to be with Low Cut Connie, but now he has a new band Swampmeat Family Band. Hyperactive Vasko Atanasoski who used to be in Bernays Propaganda has a new band with Deni Krstev called My Tear. Juliana Hatfield announced a new album of Olivia Newton John covers with a cool cover of Physical. We also check out the new album from Canada’s Sloan. New introductions are Sufis from New York and Nashville, Stars Explode from Chapel Hill, NC, Andrew Bryant from Mississippi and Ross Cooper from Lubbock, TX.

Stoneage HeartsToday we introduce two bands inspired by the 60s punk: Freaks of Nature from Phoenix, AZ and The Last Killers from Cesena, Italy. Over in Australia, we have The Stoneage Hearts who covered Motor Away by Guided By Voices. Andrew Bryant is from Alabama, and also a new face here at The Little Lighthouse. Dave Heumann of Arboretum has a new solo record. Donnie Fritts returns with recordings of some of his old songs and Louise Goffin has a new record Songs From The Mine. Ex-Cult from Memphis visited Cleveland where we caught one of their new songs live at Now That’s Class.
