Umreti Fit, a band from Szeged in Hungary, has a new record Zvezde na plafonu, their first LP. Sonny Landreth, legendary guitar player from Louisiana is also back with the new record. Also in Louisiana, we check out a new singer songwriter here at the Little Lighthouse, Johnny Sansone. Other new names in today’s show are Mesa Cosa, a Mexican/Australian band and Tough Age from Vancouver CA. Finally, we check out a new song by Kelley Mickwee, out of Austin, recorded live in Cleveland.

Robert PollardRobert Pollard is as active as ever. We introduced his new band Ricked Wicky just recently, and now he also has a new solo record. We also introduce Home Blitz from Princeton NJ, which reminds me on Game Theory. Faux Ferocious come from Nashville and we check out their studio and live recordings from their show in Cleveland. Thee Oh Sees are back with the new LP called Mutilator Defeated At Last. Rodney Crowell and Emmylou Harris have a new album together. They first worked together 40 round years ago, so it’s a nice anniversary. Fauntleroys is a supergroup consisting of Alejandro Escovedo, Ivan Julian (ex Voidods) and Linda Pitmon (ex Zsu Zsu’s Petals and Miracle 3). We finish with a tribute to Bobby Irwin, drummer in Nick Lowe’s band who passed away recently.

Tim Lee and Susan BauerWe have some nice new projects for the familiar faces at The Little Lighthouse. Jeffrey Evans (68 Comeback, Gibson Bros) plays with Ross Johnson (Panther Burns) occasional gigs in Memphis and now an album of a set they recorded back in 2008 with Jim Dickinson is finally out on a disc. Robert Pollard gathered some old Dayton friends and formed a new band called Ricked Wicky (actually the name of one of his first bands). Tim Lee and Susan Bauer celebrate a 33rd and 1/3 anniversary with an LP of the same title. We introduce some new names in this show this time: Germ House from New Mexico, Two Gallants from San Francisco and The New Piccadillys who play Mersey beat versions of well rock’n’roll standards (mostly!).
