Today we introduce a young singer songwriter from South London Jade Bird. Rivaling her disarming youth, we also check out the newest from Colleen Green hailing from San Diego CA. Also in California, Lisa Mychols has a new song. Nick Piunti from Detroit has a new single. Crocodiles had a series of digital eps during the pandemic, and now it’s all on a disc. Tough Age from Canada has a playful new single. Also in Canada, Underwater Sunshine recorded a series of basement recordings in 1996-97 and now it’s all released finally. At the end of the show, we pay tribute to Steve Martin Caro and Tom Finn, former Left Banke members who both passed away a year ago.

We also introduce some new names today: Dumb Punts from Melbourne Australia, Brandy from New York City and Ike Reilly from Chicago. Colleen Green is interesting, she released several cassette tapes in the past few years over in Los Angeles. As a loving tribute to John Wicks who passed away on October 7th, we play two songs by The Records. War on Women are live in Cleveland.

Kevin AyersToday we say the last goodbyes to Kevin Ayers of Soft Machine and Tony Sheridan who sang with The Beatles back in their Hamburg days. The two rockers passed away recently. We also have some new stuff. We have new music for the Austinites Kelly Willis and her husband Bruce Robison and our good friend Kim Simpson. They all have new records out. Billy Childish has recently put out a record with his Spartan Drags, and that opens out new show. Donovan put out a record that he started making in 1970 with John Phillips and The Jazz Crusaders. Mikal Cronin has a new single out. We also have Freedy Johnston from his recent gig in Cleveland and one new name: Colleen Green from Oakland CA.
