Today we start with the new tune from LA band Berries. We check out a couple of more California artists. Tony Molina, for instance, who just announced his new album. Petrified Max, with LA punk legends Vitus Mataré and John Rosewall is back with their third album Everything’s Beautiful Now which sounds flawless. La Luz from Seattle have two new releases, a new single and a new instrumental album. From Australia, we check out L.A. Mood. Over in Helsinki, Finland, we check out Black Lizard. In Boston, we introduce The Gypsy Moths and in Chicago, we introduce Dedh.

Trippy show today with two Canadian bands: Possum from Toronto and Elevator To Hell from New Brunswick. Two tributes, one to Roky Erickson and the other one to Bubble Puppy. In particular, we hear the new version of Don’t Fall Down by Black Angels and Hot Smoke and Sassafras by Deniz Tek and newly reformed Rittenhouse Square, featuring Mitch Easter, Peter Holsapple, Will Rigby, Chris Stamey and Don Dixon. We also introduce Fuzzy Lights from UK, Ribbons of Euphoria from Greece and hear new music from La Luz and The Shivas. We end the show with an obit to Sarajevo musician and master of ceremonies Zvonimir Altarac ÄŒičak who passed away in March this year.

Nick Lowe is back with an new EP and also Wilko Johnson, legendary Dr. Feelgood guitarist is back with the new record. We check out the new music from La Luz over in Seattle and we catch up with the recent music from Dot Dash, from Washington DC. Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore are in our live in Cleveland segment. We pay tributes to two drummers Knick Knox from the Cramps and D.J. Fontana, from Elvis’ band. Both of them passed away recently.

La LuzToday we continue listening to the Suicide Squeeze Records compilation with two new bands: four ladies in La Luz and Audacity from California. Out of Ireland comes Goodly Thousands. Terry Manning, legendary producer and engineer from Memphis, with a great solo album from 1969 recorded at Ardent is back with the new, low key album called Heaven Knows. And finally, Kim Fowley’s posthumous release Detroit Invasion is out. It was recorded three years before his death with the help of Matthew Smith from Outrageous Cherry, Johnny Nash from Electric Six and Troy Gregory in Detroit. What an incredible album!
