Billy F Gibbons from ZZ Top has a new solo record and so does Richard Thompson, the legendary guitarist of Fairport Convention. We also introduce some new names today: Dumb Punts from Melbourne Australia, Brandy from New York City and Ike Reilly from Chicago. Colleen Green is interesting, she released several cassette tapes in the past few years over in Los Angeles. As a loving tribute to John Wicks who passed away on October 7th, we play two songs by The Records. War on Women are live in Cleveland.
Today we open up with a new band called The Fadeaways form Japan. Melvins have a new record with two bass players, Jeff Pinkus (ex Butthole Surfers) and Steven McDonald (of Redd Kross). We introduce two hard rock bands, Black Moth lead by Harriet Bevan and a feminist quartet War On Women from Baltimore. Zerodent of Perth Australia are back with the new album and so are Umreti Fit (Szeged, Hungary). Erika Wennerstrom of Heartless Bastards is going solo on a new record and Rich Hopkins has a new song with his Luminarios. Tune in next week for more!
