We remember her well from her stint with Chris D and Divine Horsemen band in the 80s. From San Francisco, The Forty Nineteens are back with a new rock’n’roll kick-in-the-gut called Rebooted. We introduce Levitation Room from Los Angeles with their psychedelic sound and Wink Burcham with his ultra cool approach to country rock. Finally, talking about country, we pay a tribute to the king… Merle Haggard has passed away and we remember him by playing some cover versions and a an original early track.

Hyper-productive Australians King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard are back with yet another new record Nonagon Infinity. Four Minnesota ladies with years of experience in various band joined forces and formed a band called Beebe Gallini that focuses on garage rock covers. Detroit garage rock revivalists from the late 90s, The Go have a new live album. Webb Wilder, guitarist and actor from North Mississippi is back with the new album Mississippi Moderne. Our good Australian friend Jon S. Williams who we know from City of Cool is back with an excellent batch of new recordings and we check out his cover of Trevor Lucas’ Poor Ned. We wrap things out with the new Allysen Callery tune.
Today we start off with the new record for Cheap Trick. We also introduce new bands: Music Band from Nashville, Vaguess from Long Beach, Terminal Lovers from Cleveland, Rocket Bureau from Wisconsin and Australian Rolling Blackouts. ne of my favorite albums in the last couple of months is Lilly Hiatt’s Royal Blue along with its b-sides, so as a part of my experiment to see what it makes so good, I dug out some past work from the producer and keyboardist Adam Landry and drummer Jon Radford. Today we introduce Fernando Viciconte and Mean Jeans from Portland, OR. Also, from England, we have the three ladies from Thee Jezebels and afro-punk by The Heavy. Charles Moothart from San Francisco is a buddy of Ty Segall and we hear his band CFM for the first time today. Guida from Italy are back with a new album called Guida Speaks Evil. The news comes to us that Andrew Loomis, drummer of the legendary Dead Moon passed away on March 8, so we prepared a block of Dead Moon songs to remember him by.
Today we start off with Sheer Mag from Philadelphia with their new, third EP. Then we go to Australia and check the new album for The Murlocs, lead by Ambrose Kenny Smith from King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard. Then we visit Moscow, Russia and their new quartet Nikola Tesla and Thee Coils. All Them Witches from Nashville have a new album called Lightning At The Door. Bob Mould from Hüsker Dü also has a new record, called Patch The Sky. We are still very excited by Lilly Hiatt’s new record Royal Blue, and she surprised us pleasantly with four previously unavailable songs. We pay respect to Keith Emerson and George Martin. And, we also have a special announcement, my sister Snežana Žabić has a new book out on Punctum – get it! There’s a lot of incriminating stories involving yours truly inside the book.
A few new names today. First, Uncle Acid and The Deadbeads, a hard rock band from England. Also from over there, Desert Mountain Tribe. The Cherry Drops are a power pop band from Florida and Cherie Currie from Runaways had a new album recently, so we check it out. Dan Baird from Georgia Satellites joined forces with Warner Hodges of Jason and The Scorchers and had a live show in Cleveland.

Robert Pollard has another new album and we lost the count long time ago. Also from Ohio, we check out the new music from Rocket From The Tombs. The Verbs are Steve Jordan who we know from his collaboration with Keith Richards and Meegan Voss who was with the Poptarts and they have a new cover only album. Jay Gonzales, who we know from his collaboration with Drive By Truckers and who had a nice power pop album in 2012. We listen to The Sadies live in CLE.

Kat Arthur, who was in Legal Weapon plays with her new band Los Pistolas Coyotes in and around the L.A. scene. Ronnie Lane’s band Slim Chance reformed recently and made a new album. Ethan Daniel Davidson is in our Live in CLE Â segment. Today;s show is dedicated to my friend Branko who passed away suddenly.
