On the US scene, we check out the new stuff from The Dream Syndicate and Guided By Voices. We introduce a guitar slinger from Philadelphia Chris Forsyth.

Today we first visit Scandinavia, where we check out the new tunes for the Sweden’s Ghost and Norway’s Death By Unga Bunga. Then we visit Ohio. We hear the new music from Guided By Voices and Public Squares who we caught live at Blue Arrow Records. Elsewhere in America, we hear new music from Brooklyn’s A Place To Bury Strangers. We also introduce The Sueves from Chicago and The Katellas, lead by Dewey Peek, who we heard last week with Ford Madox Ford. The episode this week is dedicated to the memory of Mike Harrison of Spooky Tooth, who passed away recently, on March 25.
Today we start with the new music for the three ladies in California, Midnite Snaxxx. Guided By Voices has yet another album and we check out a track that closes it. Mia Dyson from Australia is back with the new record and so are the Londoners Jack Sandham and Wednesday Lyle who are together in Cowbell. Oslobodioci from Serbia have an interesting new cover of the Husker Du tune Sorry Somehow. Lemon Twigs are back with a new song that sounds like a Todd Rundgren song and Lemon Clocks are back with their new psychedelic doings. Lovely Bad Things are a new band for us, lead by Lauren Curtius and Beechwood from New York City closes the show with their new album.
Today we start of with the new music from Guided By Voices and their former band mate Tobin Spout. Then we hear new music from Jenny Don’t, this time with her band The Spurs. Kelli Halliburton from The Pierced Arrows is also there. Jake Xerxes Fussell hails from Columbus, GA and he covered an awesome Jimmy Lee Williams song in a manner similar to Ed Crawford tribute to Elizabeth Cotten long time ago on a fIREHOSE record. Paul Kelly is back with the newest record and we also introduce Rahill Jamalifard and her band Roya. Jason Look of Part Time Lover is live in CLE with a Gene Clark song.
Pretty much all new bands in the show today. We introduce Ancient Shapes from Canada, Big Hogg from Glashow, Scotland, Selwyn Birchwood from Florida and Telestons from Greece. Eyelids are kind of a supergroup from Portland with members from Guided By Voices, Decembrists and some other less known bands. Famed E-Streeter who is keeping garage rock alive in his radio show, Little Steven is back with a solo record and Chuck Berry songs which were recorded in the past decade are finally coming out posthumously.
We start the show with the new rhythm and blues band from Memphis, Southern Avenue. They we check out the new tune for Janiva Magness. We also check out the music from Rickie Lee Jones and Madeleine Peyroux, who are collaboration on a new tour together. The New Pornographers have a new record and so does the singer of The Ettes, Coco Hames. Guided By Voices recorded a new, lengthy double album too. But a special treat today is a block in which we check out separate projects of each new member of Ty Segall’s band. Charles Mootheart has a new CFM album and so does Emmet Kelly with his Cairo Gang. We introduce the pianist Ben Boye and his band Joshua Abrams And Natural Information Society, who also have a new album out.
Today we hear some new music from the kings of lo-fi rock, Robert Pollard and Guided By Voices. He is as productive as ever. Following his footsteps in lo-fi, we introduce City Yelps from Leeds UK and Honey Radar from Indiana. Paul Kelly is back with a set of Shakespearean sonnets. Plastic Pals form Sweden have a new single. San Mikulec, a one-man band in Croatia is back with the new project called Snooze in Motion and we close everything with John Doe of X with his new album. Bob Hillman is a new name in show, he recorded an albums with the help of Peter Case. We pay respect to Jadranka Stojakovic, probably the greatest female character that ever came out of the Yugoslav pop and rock scene. She passed away yesterday.
Today we start off with the new Jack Oblivian record. He’s back with the new band The Sheiks and the new album The Lone Ranger of Love. Bazooka is a new band from Greece. Robert Pollard has another new album and we lost the count long time ago. Also from Ohio, we check out the new music from Rocket From The Tombs. The Verbs are Steve Jordan who we know from his collaboration with Keith Richards and Meegan Voss who was with the Poptarts and they have a new cover only album. Jay Gonzales, who we know from his collaboration with Drive By Truckers and who had a nice power pop album in 2012. We listen to The Sadies live in CLE. 
Today we introduce two bands inspired by the 60s punk: Freaks of Nature from Phoenix, AZ and The Last Killers from Cesena, Italy. Over in Australia, we have The Stoneage Hearts who covered Motor Away by Guided By Voices. Andrew Bryant is from Alabama, and also a new face here at The Little Lighthouse. Dave Heumann of Arboretum has a new solo record. Donnie Fritts returns with recordings of some of his old songs and Louise Goffin has a new record Songs From The Mine. Ex-Cult from Memphis visited Cleveland where we caught one of their new songs live at Now That’s Class.
