Going back to Louisiana today – we’re listening to the music either made in Louisiana or is inspired by Louisiana. We start off with a few New Orleans style brass bands. We introduce Funkrust Brass Band from New York and Cleveland’s Da Land Brass Band. From New Orleans, we check out the new tune from Hot 8 Brass Band and we check out Ghost Town Brass Band from Massachusetts. Out of Lafayette, we check out a cajun duet of two ladies – The Holiday Playgirls. Rose an the Bros from Ithaca are back with a new album. Andy Baylor over in Melbourne has a new album called Arcadiana and Duke Robilliard checks in with his new album.
