International Psych update today with new music for Wytches in UK and our long time friends Special Pillow from Hoboken NJ. We’ve been playing them for over two decades intermittently and here they are with a new tune. We have two bands from Germany contributing cool tunes: Kadaver from Berlin, and Liquid Orbit from Bremen. Out in Australia, Melbourne – we have Eggy’s new album. Out in Poland we welcome Weedpecker for the first time at The Little Lighthouse. And we also have two new projects by Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth, his band Winged Wheel based in Detroit and trio Orcutt Shelley Miller based in San Francisco. I guess Shelley has subscribed to a frequent flier program with some airline.

The colors of the US flag are defended by Lifequard from Chicago. We also check out a new project for Justin Warfield and we close things off with Sclupture Club who I kept thinking were from Salt Lake City, but now I see they’re from Dallas TX. They may have relocated? Maybe it’s just my sleepy brain. Who knows. A slightly altered version of this show will air on Saturday as a part of the renewed XCSB.

Macarrones come from Madrid in Spain and we introduce The Glory Boys from Sydney AU. We hear a new single by Dayton’s M. Ross Perkins before we close the show with a few well known gems. This show (more or less) aired on Tuesday as a part of the renewed XCSB and since it was my first regular show there, it included a few repeats from earlier years to represent my direction overall.
