A nice episode today with brand new music from Guided By Voices, Buffalo Tom, Kelley Stoltz and Kevin Gordon. Cody Dickinson, son of Jim and one of the Dickinson brothers from North Mississippi Allstars is shining in today’s show with a incredibly playful new album. We introduce a new duet The Bird And The Bee from LA. Also from LA, Habibi has a new album. New York City’s Josephine is back with a catchy new album and new band Josephine Network. Today we start off with the new album by Nashville’s own Margo Price. Everybody is talking about it these days! Lynn Miles and Norma MacDonald are new introductions from Canada. Over in UK, we have Hannah White and The Nordic Connections, as well as the duet Snowgoose with Jim McCulloch and Anna Sheard. Marianne Dissard from Tucson AZ covers a Steely Dan song and Josephine from New York City has a new single. We also introduce Weyes Blood and Natalie Laura Mering, clearly later than most other relevant rock shows, but their music fell through the cracks for me last year and I’ve just figured out how much her voice reminds me of the legendary Jadranka Stojaković.
