We begin today internationally. We started with Frustration from Paris, France, and Metal Babies from Australia. Then Fabienne DelSol from London revisits an old Warren Zevon tune. And then we land back into the good old USA. Rain Perry has a lovely song about Julie Christensen. Las Nubes come from Florida and we check them both live from Cleveland and from their recent album. Allysen Callery has a neat cover of an old Donovan tune. Last Daze from Austin are back with the new album. Obnc is a new band too, but I know absolutely nothing about them. They sound good though!

Again, we bring a show with new music almost exclusively arranged from the new female artists. Ex Hex from Washington DC are back with the new record It’s Real. Last Daze from Nashville TN have a new single. Also from Nashville, we have Dawn Landes. We introduce Exbats from Arizona. Phoebe Bridges and Conor Oberst (from Bright Eyes) have a new band called Better Oblivion Community Center. Stumpwater is an old band from Saginaw MI. Their vintage, unreleased material has been discovered and published by Drag City Records. At the end of the show, we say goodbye to Dick Dale and Andre Williams who passed away within a day from each other, both in their early 80s.

Today we have Julie Doiron from Canada returning to the playlist with her new band Julie and The Wrong Guys. Also from Canada, The Wasted Potential that we played some time ago through a series of contemporary Hüsker Dü covers are back with a new tune dedicated. The DTs come from Bellingham WA, and hail from Hidden Volume, the same label that also brought us Gorilla* and The Improbables this year. Katy Cole and her Last Daze keep putting out new songs and we are anticipating the new record with great hopes. And we also wait for the new Dream Syndicate record. Meanwhile they are putting occasional tracks from their upcoming album on Youtube. Derrick Anderson from Toledo, OH teamed up with The Bangles for his new single. We also check out Handsome Jack from Lockport, NY live in Cleveland. Brinsley Schwartz lost album It’s All Over Now is finally properly released, so we check that out too.
Today’s show starts with two new loud bands, Control Freaks from San Francisco and Golden Pelicans from Orlando, FLA. We continue with the new singer from Nashville, Chely Wright with a mighty cover of a Bob Dylan song Tomorrow Is A Long Time. Also from Nashville, we chack out the new song from Last Daze, fronted by Katy Cole. From Canada, we check out Suzanne Elizabeth Ungerleider who goes under the moniker Oh Susanna. Vaguess from California are also back with the new album Guilt Ring and we finish off with Vasko Atanasoski from Macedonia and a track from his upcoming album.
Great news today! From this show on, we are underwritten by one of the best record shops in the world,
