Today we check out new singles from Italian band Faz Waltz and Memphis rockers Model Zero. Also from Memphis, we check out new band over there So Gung Ho, collaboration between songwriter Graham Winchester, Seth Moody from Faux Killas and Jared McStay from Simpletones. Strange Notes come from Cleveland and hereby we introduce them to the rest of the world. At the tail end of the show we play music by The Saints and The Sadies, commemorating deaths of Chris Bailey and Dallas Good.

King Salami and The Cumberland Three are London immigrants from the Carribean, France, Japan and Spain. The Masonics are a trio from Medway and it does have that good Medway sound. Molochs are a duet from California and Bremen Riot are from Austin, TX. Country tinged Candles come from New York City.

Bazooka is a new band from Greece. Robert Pollard has another new album and we lost the count long time ago. Also from Ohio, we check out the new music from Rocket From The Tombs. The Verbs are Steve Jordan who we know from his collaboration with Keith Richards and Meegan Voss who was with the Poptarts and they have a new cover only album. Jay Gonzales, who we know from his collaboration with Drive By Truckers and who had a nice power pop album in 2012. We listen to The Sadies live in CLE.

catl.Today we present the new record for catl, a blues rock duo from Toronto, Canada. Another representative of the same genre, but a bit more traditional, are Backsliders from Australia. They have a new album out there called Dark Side. Jack Bruce of Cream is back also with a new record. Jon Spencer with his new single rounds out our very long blues segment today. Sonic Chicken 4 from Perpignan are also back with the new record called Shake Appeal. The leader of Tragically Hip, Gord Downie joined forces with The Sadies to make a new record. LividsToday we start off with some recent collaborations of Robert Plant with younger bands. Then we move on to the new Resentments album who regrouped after their founder Stephen Burton passed away four years ago. Garage soul singer Barrence Whitfield reunited with his Savages and put out the new record called Dig Thy Savage Soul. Canadian rockers The Sadies also have a new album, and it sounds a lot like Meat Puppets, which we fully support. Tommy Keene has an album of covers and Eamon McGrath threw out another new mp3 to public. Finally, we have a great pleasure to introduce Livids – the new band for Eric Davidson from New Bomb Turks.

Today we have two obituaries, one for Bill Bartell, better known as Pat Fear from the satirical punk band White Flag and the other for Jackie Lomax, one of the Apple recording artists back in the early 70s.

In our short-lived Salt Lake City Lighthouse series we had a guest musician called Kim Simpson as a guest and he played a live set for us.
